- Born and raised in Southern California - Resident of West Covina for over 25 years
- Teacher for over 25 years (third and fourth grades)
- Big fan of integrating technology tools, hands-on learning and small-group instruction
- Served as Master Teacher, Technology Trainer/Mentor, Curriculum Trainer and Leadership Team member
- Father of four boys - All four will be in college this fall!
- Founder of a Trail Life USA Troop - Christian outdoor adventure/leadership troop for boys (alternative to BSA)
- Sunday school teacher (K-6) at church for over 27 years
- Has coached various sports (field hockey, basketball, soccer and flag football)
- Relaxes by working out at the gym, napping or hanging out with the family
- DIY guy - Favorite stores are Home Depot and Autozone
- San Diego Padre fans since the early 1990's - Go Padres!!
- Classroom Motto is "Work hard. Be Nice."
