There was a time when having internet at home was a luxury. It was nice to have but we could survive without it. Now, educational websites abound. Online tools are ready and waiting to take your child to a deeper level of understanding.
Almost everyone I know has a smartphone. But I am concerned that many parents do not have internet access at home or a working computer. With Common Core standards and computer-based testing around the corner, your child cannot thrive without access to these tools. Basic DSL service is available for less than $20 a month. Web-based laptops are less than $300. Success in the 21st Century requires the right tools. As we transition to Common Core standards, online tools will be essential. |
